Baker's 13 Year Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam distillery in Clermont, bottled from an individually selected barrel at natural barrel proof. Each bottle is numbered to the barrel it came from. Baker's belongs to Jim Beam's Small Batch Collection, launched in 1992, and is named for Baker Beam, a great-grandnephew of Jim Beam and longtime distiller at Clermont. This 13-year release is a limited edition, and it moves the brand from a blended batch format to a single barrel. After 13 years in wood, the bourbon is described as showing substantial oak integration, dried fruit and caramel depth.
