Baker's Single Barrel High Rye is a bourbon aged for a minimum of seven years and bottled at 107 proof, or 53.5% ABV. It is named after Baker Beam, grand-nephew of Jim Beam. The high rye mash bill nods to Baker's former trucking business, in which he delivered grain to the James B. Beam Distilling Co. That work deepened his interest in different grains and how they shape a whiskey. The rye gives a distinct spice, alongside intense notes of caramel, dried fruit and vanilla.
