Bakery Hill – Sovereign Smoke Defiantly Peated Single Malt (50cl)

Sovereign Smoke is a limited release Australian single malt from Bakery Hill, sold in a 50cl bottle. It is made with rare Belgian peated barley and matured fully in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. The peat is much higher than in the distillery's standard peated malt, with fresh coastal notes reminiscent of the finest Islay malts. It does not dominate the palate, and the sweetness that marks the Bakery Hill spirit is kept. The finish is described as complex and long-lasting.
