Balblair 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Edderton in Ross-shire, bottled at 46% in a 750ml bottle. It is natural colour and not chill-filtered.
The whisky spends its twelve years in American oak only, in ex-bourbon casks and double-fired casks, which are heavily charred.
The nose offers lemon peel, creamy vanilla and crisp green apple. On the palate, ground spices and dried orange slices sit within intense honey sweetness. The finish is creamy and leathery, with lingering sweet vanilla.
