Balblair – 18 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Balblair (Highland). Aged 18 years, bottled at 46% ABV, 70cl. Matured in bourbon & sherry casks. The 18-year-old started its life in bourbon wood before finishing in first-fill sherry butts. This was introduced in March 2019 as part of the new age statement core range alongside a 12-, 15- and 25-year-old. A malt distillery in the Highland region of Scotland owned by the ThaiBev drinks group in south-east Asia through its Inver House Distillers division. Although historically associated with the Ballantine's blend, it has established itself in the 21st century as a key single malt brand.
