A Texas single malt from Balcones, finished in rum casks.
The nose is rich with caramelised sugar, cherry cola, banana bread and sassafras, alongside pistachio, peanut brittle, apple skins and peach cobbler. The palate is big and full-bodied, with tropical fruits, molasses, sweet black tea and gingerbread.
The finish is dry and long, with prickly cinnamon, burnt sugar and heavy oak.
