Ballantine's 10 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It combines around 50 single malts and four grain whiskies, and every component has spent at least ten years in American oak.
The blend is built around Glenburgie and Miltonduff malts from Speyside, together with Strathclyde grain whisky. It won Gold at the International Spirits Challenge 2025.
Honey leads the nose, followed by vanilla, soft oak and toasted malt. The palate is smooth and honeyed, with floral notes, creamy oak and dried fruit. The finish is long, with lingering sweetness and traces of dark wood.
