Ballantine's 17 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. The long maturation adds depth of flavour and character, with a subtle smokiness and a fruity, velvety texture.
It is a clear, golden amber. The nose has vanilla and oak with a hint of smoke. On the palate, honey sweetness meets creamy vanilla, oak and spicy liquorice. The finish is long, sweet and smooth, with a touch of spice.
