Ballantine's 23 Year Old American Oak is a blended whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. Master Blender Sandy Hyslop selected each whisky for the blend, favouring a high proportion matured only in first-fill American oak casks.
The colour is deep old gold. The nose is soft and fruity, with a gentle sweetness and vanilla oak. Honey, floral and fruity flavours sit in balance on the palate alongside vanilla, and the finish is long.
