Tiger Thiccc Blended Whiskey Batch 1 is a blend of straight American bourbon distilled at MGP in Indiana and Japanese whisky, made in collaboration with comedian and podcaster Brendan Schaub. It is the 2021 release, finished in mizunara oak and bottled at 96 proof (48%).
The nose is fruity and corny, with caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and honey, tempered by spearmint and a savoury umami edge. On the palate, sweet lemon and orange give way to malty grain, coconut and exotic spice. The finish is long and warm, with chocolate, oak, spice and a faint wisp of smoke.
