Ballantine's Finest is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 1.75 litre bottle. It is built around more than 50 single malts and four single grain whiskies from the Highland, Lowland, Speyside and Islay regions, with Miltonduff and Glenburgie as the two malts at its centre.
The blend won a Gold medal at the 2006 International Spirits Challenge.
Heather honey, fresh bread and gentle vanilla lead the nose. The palate is smooth and mildly sweet, with honey, milk chocolate, red and green apple and a little peat smoke. The finish is medium in length, floral and clean.
