Ballantine's Finest Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Ballantine's Finest is a blended whisky made by marrying selected malt and grain whiskies, following an original recipe from the 19th century. The blend rests for at least three years in casks, and the proportions of the recipe are not revealed. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% and is amber in colour. The nose is soft and sweetish, with green apples and wood. The palate is creamy and complex, with sweetness and notes of barley, caramel and peat. The finish is soft, fine and sweet.
