Ballantine's Finest (70cl, 40%)

Ballantine's Finest is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% abv. The brand goes back to George Ballantine, an entrepreneur who started a grocery business in 1827 and went his own way to make whisky of the best quality. Ballantine's has one of the most extensive ranges of blended Scotch. Its square bottle is believed to date from Prohibition, when the shape let American salesmen carry a bottle or two in a briefcase without it rolling or rattling.
