Ballantine's is a Scotch blended whisky in a 1 litre bottle. It was matured in a selection of oak casks.
The nose is delicate, with honey, vanilla and oak and a faint hint of peat. The palate is silky, with sweet malt, cereal and spice, then ripe fruit, dark chocolate and a pinch of cinnamon. The finish is long and warm, with a slightly smoky aftertaste.
