Ballantine's is a blended Scotch whisky made from 50 single malts and 4 single grains, in a 70cl bottle. The house goes back to 1827, when George Ballantine left his birthplace for Edinburgh to trade whisky. He opened premises in Glasgow in 1867. The colour is pale gold. The nose offers honey and heather with a pinch of spice, and the palate brings milk chocolate and green apple blended into vanilla sweetness. The finish is soft, sweet and complex.
