Devil's Share is the flagship single malt whiskey from Ballast Point, made and bottled in San Diego, California. This is Batch 7, bottled at 46% (92 proof) in a 750ml bottle.
It is made from malted barley, distilled in small batches and aged for four years in virgin, heavily charred American oak barrels.
The colour is a rich golden amber. The nose is full and inviting, with woody caramel, vanilla and warm sweet malt. On the palate, caramel and vanilla meet hints of cinnamon, cardamom and licorice, and the finish is clean and smooth with a lingering sweet oak warmth.
