This is a 20-year-old heavily peated Highland single malt from Ballechin, bottled at 54.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 25 July 2004 and bottled on 25 July 2024, after the full twenty years in a first-fill Port pipe, with 691 bottles produced. It was distilled on Andrew Symington Jr's birthday. The palate shows black cherries, ripe figs, dried dates and complex spices, well integrated with mature smoke and peat. Uncut cigars, dark chocolate and antique wood linger on the finish.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
