This is the 2016 vintage release from Ballindalloch, a Speyside single malt. It is a limited run of 2400 bottles.
The whisky was matured in first-fill casks, 80% bourbon and 20% oloroso sherry. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle and has a pale amber colour.
On the nose there are fresh apples, soft pears and gentle floral notes. The palate brings juicy peaches, creamy caramel and soft vanilla, and the finish is light and smooth, with a sweet orchard fruit linger.
