This is a single cask Speyside malt from Ballindalloch, distilled in 2017 and bottled after seven years at a natural cask strength of 61.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Cask 410 was a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry butt, and it yielded 640 bottles. The whisky is natural in colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose is of raisin loaf, honeycomb, orange marmalade, vanilla tablet, polished oak and cinnamon. On the palate are fig jam, toffee apples, dark chocolate, roasted hazelnuts and candied citrus, with PX sherry sweetness balanced by malt. The finish is medium to long, with fruit cake, gentle oak spice, vanilla and sherried fruits.
