Ballindalloch Bourbon Cask No.5 is a Speyside single malt, distilled on 14 January 2016 and bottled on 31 January 2024. It was matured in a bourbon cask and is bottled at 61.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers Pink Lady apple, allspice, wine gums dusted with icing sugar and wild heather flowers, then nutmeg, sea salt, peach and fresh vanilla. With water it shows more fruit, along with nougat, wood shavings and worn leather. The palate is rich and full, with orchard fruit, green mango, caramel and white chocolate. The finish is long and soft, with no sharp edges.
