Ballykeefe Single Malt Irish Whiskey comes from the family-owned Ballykeefe Distillery in County Kilkenny, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It is made from Irish malted barley grown on the family farm, triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and virgin American oak casks. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The palate opens with honey, vanilla and ripe orchard fruit, then creamy malt, toasted oak and gentle baking spices, with hints of caramel, citrus zest and roasted almonds. The finish is long and warming, with lingering vanilla, oak and soft spice.
