This is a 12 year old Balvenie single malt from the Stories range, in a 70cl bottle. Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie wanted a fruitier, sweeter Balvenie, so she had virgin oak barrels brought in from Kentucky.
The barrels were deep toasted at The Balvenie Cooperage and then filled with Balvenie whisky that had been aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
