A 14 year old Speyside single malt from Balvenie, aged in hand-selected American bourbon barrels and sold in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Balvenie Stories series and is a collaboration between apprentice malt master Kelsey McKechnie and sample coordinator George Paterson.
The nose is sweet vanilla and smooth toffee. The palate adds crisp apple and pear, honey, and a gentle spice of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is soft and lingering, with subtle oak and a mellow warmth.
