A 17 year old Balvenie single malt from the Islay Cask series, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition, drawn from 94 casks.
The whisky matured for 17 years in traditional oak, then received a finish in casks that had previously held Islay whisky. The finish adds a touch of smoky, peaty character to the soft honey sweetness typical of Balvenie.
