Balvenie 17 Year Old The Week of Peat is a Speyside single malt bottled at 49.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
For one week each year the distillery makes a peated whisky using local Speyside peat in place of unpeated malt, an approach started by distillery manager Ian Millar. This 17 year old matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
It is non-chill-filtered.
