The Week of Peat is a seventeen-year-old Balvenie single malt, made from home-grown barley and bottled at 49.4% ABV.
It is a peated expression, with the smoke kept gentle and set against citrus, oaky vanilla and blossom honey.
The nose offers soft, sweet peat smoke, lighter floral notes and delicate butterscotch honey. The palate is velvety and round, and the finish is gentle smoke followed by a lingering, creamy vanilla sweetness.
