Balvenie 19 Year Old Cask and Character Story No. 9 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in the distillery's Stories Range. Matured in European oak oloroso sherry casks, this Chinese export market bottling was released by William Grant & Sons at 47.5% ABV.
The whisky was developed under Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie and Warehouse Coordinator George Paterson. Dried fruit and gentle spice lead on the nose, followed by smooth sherry sweetness and oak on the palate. The finish is long and warming.
