A 19-year-old Speyside single malt from Balvenie, The Edge of Burnhead Wood, part of the A Revelation series. It is matured in oak casks and bottled at 48.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The barley was grown on the distillery's own grounds near Burnhead Wood, and the malt was dried over heather rather than a peat fire. The heather also grows on the Balvenie grounds, and the water comes from the Burnhead spring close to the distillery.
