Balvenie 21 Year Old PortWood is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It was first released in 1996 and has been finished in casks that previously held Port, the fortified wine from Porto.
The nose is berry fruits and raisins over a nutty undertone. On the palate it is smooth, with berry fruits, spices and notes of honey, and the finish is long and gentle with a nutty character.
