Balvenie 25 Year Old is a Speyside single malt aged for twenty-five years and bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE brings together individual casks matured in traditional American and European oak, in the Single Malt TUN style of marriage.
Bold vanilla oak, crystallised ginger and sweet runny honey are the flavours it points to. The nose has dark fruits, toasted oak, honeyed malt, vanilla, cinnamon and a touch of marzipan. The palate is smooth, with dried fruit, caramelised sugar, spice, nutmeg and a gentle floral note. The finish is long and warming, with oak, spice and dark chocolate.
