Balvenie – 27 Year Old A Rare Discovery From Distant Shores

A 27-year-old single malt from Balvenie, released in The Balvenie Stories range as A Rare Discovery From Distant Shores. The whisky spent its final seven years finishing in ex-Caroni rum casks, from the long-closed Trinidadian distillery. The casks reached Balvenie after a meeting between head distiller David Stewart and John Barrett of the rum bottler Bristol Spirits, and the release celebrates that friendship and collaboration between spirits producers.
