Balvenie 30 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled by the distillery at 47.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and it is non-chill-filtered. It was matured in traditional oak and sherry casks and first launched in 2014, originally for the South Korean market.
The nose combines ripe peach, dried apricot and tart cranberry, with soft cinnamon, clove and toasted oak. The palate is creamy, led by honey and vanilla, with dried figs and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with spiced fruitcake and gentle oak warmth.
