This is The Balvenie Caribbean Cask, a 14 year old single malt Scotch whisky in a 20cl bottle. It is matured in traditional oak casks, then transferred to Caribbean rum casks to finish.
The result is described as rich, sweet and creamy, with a smooth, velvety texture. Toffee, fresh fruit, vanilla and sweet oak are the notes most often noted, and the finish is soft and lingering.
