Balvenie The Week of Peat 17 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Balvenie Stories collection, bottled at 49.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release. The spirit is distilled during the single week each year when Balvenie makes a gently peated style in place of its usual unpeated one. It is then matured for 17 years in a selection of oak casks. The nose is sweet peat smoke with honeycomb, citrus zest and malty vanilla. On the palate come crème brûlée, honeyed malt and lemon peel alongside the peat, and the finish is long and warming, with gentle smoke, vanilla cream and oak spice.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
