Balvenie – Tun 1509 Batch No. 8 (70cl, 52.2%)

Tun 1509 Batch No. 8 is a single malt from Balvenie and the final release in the Tun 1509 series. It is composed from 18 casks, four ex-bourbon and fourteen ex-sherry, which were married for three months in a tun before bottling. It is bottled at 52.2% in a 70cl bottle. The flavours are toffee, creamy vanilla, honey, ginger and cinnamon, followed by a long finish in which fruit, sweetness and spice complement one another.
