Bandol 2020 Château de Pibarnon

A red wine from Château de Pibarnon in Bandol, Provence, from the 2020 vintage. It is composed mainly of Mourvèdre, with a smaller proportion of Grenache. Traditional methods are used to emphasise terroir quality and uniqueness. Its bouquet recalls ripe plum and cherry, with leather and sweet spice from delicate ageing in wood. On the palate it has a solid, well-balanced structure, velvety tannins and aromatic persistence. The integrated acidity and flavour complexity suit red meat, game and aged cheeses.
