This is a 31 year old Banff single malt from Duncan Taylor's Rarest of the Rare series. It was distilled in November 1975 and bottled in October 2007 at 45.7%, from cask 3413, with 204 bottles produced. Banff stood in Banffshire in the north-east of Scotland, close to where the River Deveron meets the North Sea. The distillery closed in 1983 and was partly dismantled in 1985, and it is known for having been rebuilt after fires more often than any other in Scotland.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
