Banff 36 Year Old 1975 is a Highland single malt from Banff, a distillery that closed in 1983. It was filled into a single refill bourbon hogshead and drawn by Douglas Laing in June 2012 at natural cask strength for its Old & Rare Platinum Selection.
It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and only 153 individually numbered bottles were produced.
The notes describe honey and malt, enriched by polished oak, citrus oils and gentle coastal spice.
