Banff – 46 Year Old 1976 Private Collection

This is a 46 year old single malt from Banff, the Highland distillery that closed in 1983. It was distilled on 26th October 1976 and filled into a single refill sherry butt, where it matured until it was bottled on 3rd February 2023. Gordon & MacPhail released it as part of the Private Collection, in the Lost Distilleries Recollection Series #2. Only 109 hand-blown crystal decanters were filled.
