A Tuscan red from Banfi, made mainly from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Ageing in French barriques gives rich aromatic intensity and a harmonious structure, with notes of ripe red fruit, sweet spices and a delicate hint of vanilla. On the palate it is full-bodied, soft and enveloping, with well-integrated tannins that enhance its persistence. It pairs well with red meats, game and aged cheeses.
