Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore Priòra Fratelli Alessandria

A red wine from Fratelli Alessandria, made from Barbera grown in the Alba area of Piedmont. It has a deep ruby colour with violet reflections and a rich bouquet of ripe red fruits, cherries and plums, with spice and an elegant vanilla and chocolate note from wood ageing. On the palate it is rich and deep, with velvety tannins and lively acidity, giving a long, persistent finish with fruit and spice. Pair with grilled red meats, mushroom and truffle dishes and aged cheeses.
