Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore - Ricossa

A red wine from Barbera d'Asti DOCG Superiore, produced by Ricossa in Piedmont from Barbera grapes. After temperature-controlled fermentation, it ages in oak barrels for at least 12 months. In the glass it is intense ruby red with violet reflections. The nose shows ripe cherry, plum and small forest berries, with spicy and slightly vanilla notes from wood ageing. On the palate it is full and enveloping, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a balanced acidity. It suits red meat, roasts, aged cheeses and rich pasta dishes.
