A bottle of Martinique rum popular in the Italian market, dating from the 1940s. It was produced by Bardinet during their ownership of the Dillon distillery. The Dillon estate takes its name from Arthur Dillon, who acquired the plantation around the 1780s, while the distillery was built in 1928. Production at Dillon ended after La Martinquaise acquired Bardinet in 1993 and later moved the copper column still to Depaz, where spirit for the brand continues to be distilled.
