Bardinet Old Nick Rhum Negrita 1980s (1L, 44%)

A bottle of Martinique rum, popular in the Italian market. It was produced by Bardinet during their ownership of the Dillon distillery and is believed to date back to the mid 20th century. The Dillon estate dates back to the late 17th century and takes its name from Arthur Dillon. The distillery was built in 1928 and focused on rum production under Bardinet, who produced the Negrita brand there. Bardinet was bought by La Martinquaise in 1993. The Dillon copper column still was later moved to Depaz, where it continues to distil spirit for the brand today, while Dillon rum is still aged at the original site.
