Bardstown Bourbon Company – Collaborative Series Maison Ferrand Finish II (75cl, 55.9%)

Collaborative Series Maison Ferrand Finish II is the second collaboration between Bardstown Bourbon Company and Maison Ferrand. It is a blend of straight whiskeys, bottled at 55.9% in a 75cl bottle and released in August 2025. The blend is 73% 9-year-old Kentucky bourbon, 10% 11-year-old, 10% 12-year-old and 7% 6-year-old Bardstown rye. It was finished for 15 months in Ferrand Cognac casks, almost double the eight months given to the 2022 Finish I. Alexandre Gabriel of Maison Ferrand worked on it with Bardstown master blender Dan Callaway. It won Double Gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The nose brings black cherry, toasted oak, vanilla cream and spice. The palate shows baked apple, pecan, raisin and balanced oak tannins, and the finish is long and rich with candied fruit, wood and a hint of mint.
