Discovery Series #7 is a blended whiskey from Bardstown Bourbon Company, the seventh release in its Discovery Series and the Winter 2022 edition. It is bottled at 57.25% in a 75cl bottle and is non-chill-filtered. The blend combines 12-year-old Kentucky straight bourbons, 7-year-old Indiana straight rye, 17-year-old Tennessee whiskey and 12-year-old Ontario Canadian whisky. The distillery team chose the recipe by tasting, analysing and voting on blends, and none of the distillate is Bardstown's own. Walnut, brown sugar, tangerine and white flowers show on the nose. The palate offers baked apple, dark chocolate, rye spice and cornbread, and the finish is warming, with brown sugar, caramel and light oak.
