Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery Series #9 is a limited edition blend of whiskeys from several origins, in a 75cl bottle. It is built around an 8-year-old Georgia bourbon made from 80% corn, 10% wheat, 5% rye and 5% malted barley and aged in charred oak barrels.
To this are added a 12-year-old Kentucky bourbon, a 17-year-old Tennessee whiskey and a 12-year-old Canadian whiskey made from 100% corn.
Each part has its own notes: vanilla, caramel and spice for the Georgia bourbon; oak, leather and tobacco for the Kentucky; honey, maple and cinnamon for the Tennessee; and apple, pear and butterscotch for the Canadian.
