Ferrand Cognac Cask Finish II is a limited collaboration between Bardstown Bourbon Company and Maison Ferrand. It blends Kentucky straight bourbons of 9, 11 and 12 years with a 6 year old rye, then finishes the whiskey for 15 months in Ferrand cognac barrels. It is bottled at 111.8 proof (55.9%) in a 750ml bottle and won Double Gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose has black cherry, toasted oak, vanilla cream and spice. Baked apple, pecan, raisin and balanced oak tannins follow on the palate, and the long finish carries candied fruit, wood and a hint of mint.
