Ferrand II is the second release in the Bardstown Bourbon Company's collaboration with Maison Ferrand, the French Cognac producer. It is a blend of straight bourbons and rye whiskeys, finished in Pierre Ferrand Cognac casks and bottled at 57.05% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
This is a 2025 limited edition, and the etched glass carries the Ferrand F and horse motif.
The tasting notes describe a nose of warm fig, cinnamon, toasted oak and vanilla bean. The palate brings candied fruit, dried apricot, hazelnut and leather. The finish is long and smooth, with floral sweetness and tannic French oak.
