Bardstown Bourbon Company Origin Series is a six year old Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 96 proof (48%).
Its mash bill is 36% rye, which adds a burst of rye spice to a classic bourbon character.
The nose brings apricot, orange blossom and mint over caramel, nutmeg and rich oak. On the palate come cinnamon and vanilla, leading to a bold, lasting finish.
